Samantha was Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, She trained under Gailene Stock former director of The Royal Ballet School. She then later trained at The Australian Ballet School.

In 1987 she was given a contract with The Australian Ballet under the artistic directorship of Mania Gielgud. In 1991 she joined English National Ballet. Her career as a ballerina has spanned over 10 years and she has done all the major ballets. Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, Nutcracker and Swan Lake. Samantha retired from dancing in 1997 to have a family.

In 2002 she started her own dance school called Balletworks, and freelance teaches in Liverpool Central Studio’s. Samantha’s joy is passing on her wealth of experience and love of ballet to her students.
