Alex studied at the University of Leeds where he obtained a First Class degree in Theatre and Performance before going on to train at the Royal Academy of Music where he gained a PGDip in Musical Theatre and LRAM in professional musical tuition.
He has spent the last decade working as a professional performer and his theatre credits include: Pretty Woman (Savoy Theatre) Matilda the Musical (Cambridge Theatre/RSC); A Little Night Music (Watermill Theatre); My Fair Lady (The Mill at Sonning); Motown The Musical (Shaftesbury Theatre); Calamity Jane (National Tour/Watermill Theatre); Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (UK tour); Save The Last Dance For Me (UK tour); Taboo (Brixton Club House).

Alongside his performing work Alex is also the founder of ‘ACTivate Workshops’ (https://www.activateworkshops.co.uk/) bringing literacy, character education and drama workshops to secondary schools across the country.
