Rachel trained at Northern Ballet School, Manchester, graduating with a Diploma in Professional Dance and teaching qualifications with the RAD and ISTD. Shetravelled the world for 7 years, performing in award winning Broadway-Style Production Shows onboard the 6* Luxury Cruise Liner ‘MS Crystal Symphony’. During her time with Crystal Cruises, she was Dancer/Lead Adagio, Swing Dancer and Line Captain/Deputy Cruise Director. In her final year with the company, she was Assistant to the Artistic Directors/Choreographers. 

Rachel spent 6 months in New York City attendingworkshops delivered by Broadway choreographers.Inspired to start her teaching career, she returned home in early 2002 and was offered teaching positions on the Vocational Courses at Liverpool Theatre School and Northern Ballet School. 

Rachel is Head of Dance at Liverpool Theatre School,teaching Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Adagio/Jazz-Partnering,on all Trinity Diploma and BTEC courses at Liverpool Central Studios. She is an experienced choreographer, having created numerous pieces for LTS’s Productions and Showcases. She has previously choreographed for NBS Productions and the musicals ‘The Boyfriend’ and ‘Salad Days’ for the Buxton Fringe Festival. Rachel has lectured for the RAD, BBO and UKDCC Champion of Champions.

Rachel has recently gained a PGCE, a masters level academic teaching qualification to compliment her vocational qualifications. She is extremely proud to have worked for LTS for over 2 decades and thoroughly enjoys all aspects of her job!
